Ergonomic risk and lean waste in one assessment.

1 Assessment details

One assessment covers one process or one part. Fill in what applies — everything saves into the report.

Part of an ergonomic rotation?

2 Tasks & risk ratings

How to pick a color: measure the task — force in pounds, motions per minute, joint angle — then check it against the threshold box for that rating: hover over (or tap) “thresholds” under Force, Repetition, or Posture and the Green / Yellow / Red limits pop up right there — no scrolling to the charts. Tap the color of the column your measurement falls in. The Task Rating field then fills in with the highest-risk color of the three and changes color to match; pick a color in that field yourself if your judgment differs. While you rate, tag any lean waste you see in the task — motion waste especially: the extra reaching, bending, and walking that wastes time is usually the same movement driving the injury risk. Use the photo and video buttons on each task to document what you saw on the floor — every item added is stamped with the date and time.

GREEN — ACCEPTABLEWithin the guideline limits. No action needed beyond monitoring.
YELLOW — CAUTIONAt the guideline midpoint — borderline. Watch it and plan improvements.
RED — HIGH RISKOver the guideline limit. Needs countermeasures (§4).

3 Associate input

Notes from comfort or opinion surveys — what the people doing the job report.

4 Countermeasures

What will be done about the risks found — quick fixes now, engineered fixes for the long term.

5 Summary of findings

Written up automatically from the ratings, injuries, lean waste, associate input, and countermeasures above — it updates as you work, and it prints in the report and rides along in the email summary. Edit the wording freely; your edits are kept as written. “Regenerate” starts it over from the current data.

6 Ergonomic Assessment Guidelines

Scored rating = average of task ratings (Green = 1, Yellow = 2, Red = 4).
GREEN < 2.0 · YELLOW < 3.0 · RED ≥ 3.0.
Priority follows the overall rating and steps up one level when any 12-month injury is recorded.
